Processes of regional economic integration of EU countries

Abstract

The paper examines the theoretical foundations of regional economic integration, defines its essence, stages and forms. The author analyzes the historical development of European integration, as well as key agreements and organizations that facilitate this process, draws conclusions and provides recommendations for improving the efficiency of regional economic integration in Europe, in particular, emphasizes the importance of maintaining stable economic growth and a high level of well-being of citizens.
