Women in the Ukrainian dissident Movement

Abstract

The work analyzes the life, professional, and social activities of women participants in the Ukrainian Sixties Movement. It was determined that women were of great importance for the development and activities of the Sixties Movement, despite the conditions of persecution and repression of the Ukrainian intelligentsia. The research is based on the principles of historicism and complexity. The methods of analysis and synthesis, generalization, historical-genetic, historical-comparative, biographical, and chronological approaches are applied.
